This is not a book about one thing, this is a book about many things. These things all amount to the most important thing: LOVE
How to Feed A Man is a cookery book written by Stasha Palos giving a thoroughly modern take on an old-fashioned concept. From Sticky Painted Shoulder of Lamb to Auntie Alma’s cheesecake, each scrumptious dish is designed to empower you and bring maximum pleasure to the man in your life. Stasha draws on her own culinary experiences to help you bring more love into your kitchen with a quirky mixture of home-spun recipes, inspirational thoughts and poetry.
Auntie Alma's Cheesecake
Stasha Palos is the author of contemporary cook book with a twist, œHow To Feed A Man, published through Opus Media.
An artist in her own right, Stasha has also held two highly successful exhibitions at The Cork Street Gallery, London W1 with her “Reaction” and “”Soft” exhibitions.
A great love and passion for food and cooking started from a young age, culminating in the release of “How To Feed A Man”.
Stasha’s artistic background inspired the creation of this unique cook book full of contemporary and iconic images as well as cooking essentials, photographs and poetry.
Stasha’s honesty with her emotions flows as freely in the expression for her paintings as with her narrative style in “How To Feed A Man”.
In short “How To Feed A Man” is a celebration of life, love and family.
Stasha lives in London with her partner Tony and their three children.
First impressions always count. Firstly, the sexiest cookery book I’ve ever cast my eyes over. Secondly, I liked the way it was put together. Not too serious and therefore dissolves the fears and makes you want to cook. The eye was constantly amused. A book in my opinion, constructed by a proper woman who knows how to capture her mans imagination.
People so often ask the question “why did you write this? What inspired you?” Simple enough and inevitable question, but funnily enough not all that easy to answer. I could I suppose genuinely answer both in a word “Love.” But would that be enough of an explanation? Sadly not, and I put the word sadly because in my Utopia, my Fairytale world that I love to live in, its perfectly clear, and more than enough explanation, it wouldn’t have even been a question. Love. One small word, The maker of all that emotion. Laughter, tears, sorrow, joy; Depth that you never knew you had. Love. Strived for. Dreamt of. Lusted after. Love. Creator and genius. Binding, longing, and living for. I mean, seriously, what are we all here for if not to feel it. Mother brother sister Father, child, friend, lover, husband. What’s it all for if not this one small word.
I hope, in the very least, it at some point makes you smile.X
